Sometimes, the best meals are the simplest ones — especially when they’re made with love… and by an 8-year-old! This quick and savory ramen bowl is powered by Nature’s Broth Dark — our rich, black garlic-based vegan broth mix. It’s packed with umami, takes just minutes to prepare, and is customizable depending on what you’ve got on hand.
Here’s a comforting bowl you can make in no time — whether you’re short on time, energy, or ingredients.
🌿 Ingredients (1 Serving)
1 tbsp Nature’s Broth Dark
1 cup hot water
1 cup cooked gluten-free ramen noodles
1 baby bok choy cut
½ cup sliced portobello mushrooms
½ cup firm tofu, cubed
1 tsp oil (for sautéing)
1 tsp fried garlic (store-bought or homemade)
½ tsp chili oil (optional, for heat)
2 pcs of dried seasoned seaweed (optional)
🥢 Instructions
Make the Broth: In a bowl, stir 1 tbsp of Nature’s Broth Dark into 1 cup of boiling hot water. Give it a stir to release that rich black garlic aroma.
Prepare the Base: Add your cooked gluten-free ramen noodles directly into the broth. Stir gently to combine.
Sear the Bok Choy:In a small pan, heat a bit of oil and sear your bok choy for about 1–2 minutes per side, until slightly wilted and golden.
Caramelize the Mushrooms: In the same pan, add sliced portobello mushrooms and sauté until they’re browned and slightly sticky (about 4–5 minutes).
Build Your Bowl: Top your noodles with seared bok choy, caramelized mushrooms, and firm tofu cubes. Finish with a sprinkle of fried garlic, two pieces of dried seasoned and a light drizzle of chili oil if you like a kick.
✨ Why We Love It:
This bowl comes together in under 10 minutes, uses pantry-friendly ingredients, and tastes like it simmered all day. It’s gluten-free, vegan, and proof that instant can still be incredible.
And yes, even our 8-year-old can make it from start to finish (with a little pan supervision 😉).
